A rubber toy helicopter upcycled from the inner tubing of "lorry"/truck tires. The helicopters symbolize hope. There are often fires in the townships and people are desperate to see the helicopters to help extinguish the fire. During apartheid, the helicopter was feared. It was used to intimidate and control the unrest on the ground.
