Works Of Art. Grey paisley hooked designer decorative pillow in chunky cotton recycled T-shirt yarn. Expert upholstery by a long-established family firm in the Bo-Kaap, Cape Town. We like to work in recycled T-shirt yarn, producing hooked and crocheted pieces in this chunky cotton. A Curious Room colloboration.

Curious Room was created in 2011 as a label for eccentric items and unique commissions designed outside the parameters of PROJEKT (Peta Becker's crochet project) and HEARTWORKS (Margaret Woermann's embroidery project) by both designers, collaborating with different crafters and artisans. It was born out of a desire to create slow design pieces for pleasure and fun, without the demands of craft production for large orders. It allows us to push our boundaries and experiment, with a different attitude to time and to craft collaborations, and to try new materials.
